Breeding Regulations

  1. The breeding season starts on January 1 and ends on August 15.
  2. For same day shipment, semen has to be ordered before 10.00 am from Monday to Friday and before 9.00 am on Saturday.
  3. The following information is required with your semen order (otherwise no shipment of semen will be possible)
    1. Desired stallion
    2. Name and complete address of the mare owner
    3. Breed society
    4. Shipping address
    5. Mare data (name, registration no., pedigree, age, colour, markings)
  4. The breeding certificate has to be presented to the stallion station (not to the vet) at the beginning of the breeding.
  5. The stud fee will become due upon order placement and before the semen will be shipped.
  6. We are an EU-approved insemination station, and we ship fresh semen of the requested stallion. The customer will be charged separately for the freight charges for the semen shipment.  Weekend deliveries are possible upon prior arrangement. Freight charges will be higher and have to be checked before separately.
  7. Please return the shipping container sufficiently stamped as we otherwise would have to invoice them, too (Euro 25).
  8. Dr. Remmler will be the responsible veterinarian at Hengststation Kretschmer. When delivering the mare at our stud farm, the mare owner automatically agrees to settle all vet fees accruing if the stud farm deems it necessary to seek his advice.
  9. All stud fees are final prices (incl. 7% VAT.)
  10. The German General Terms and Conditions will apply.

Special Regulations

  1. For mares that failed to conceive or absorbed, only half of the corresponding stud fee will become due in the new breeding season provided a corresponding vet certificate will be presented until December 1.
  2. The stallions can be inspected upon prior arrangement.
  3. A discount will be granted upon prior arrangement in case the mare owner decides to breed more than one mare to our stallions.
